TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF MEDICAL SERVICES

By submitting a contact request or booking an appointment, the patient acknowledges and accepts the following conditions:

1. Nature of services

All services provided constitute medical acts (including anaesthesia and aesthetic medicine) carried out according to current scientific knowledge and professional standards. These are obligations of means, not of results. No specific outcome or result can be guaranteed.

2. Fees and payments

All fees charged correspond to professional medical services rendered. Fees are non-refundable, including in cases where:

  • the expected result is not achieved,
  • the patient decides not to proceed after evaluation,
  • treatment is modified for medical reasons.

Exceptions may apply only where required by applicable law.

3. Medical evaluation and indication

Any treatment is subject to prior medical assessment. The initial consultation does not guarantee suitability for a procedure. The practitioner reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment if deemed medically inappropriate or unsafe.

4. Risks and informed consent

All medical and aesthetic procedures involve inherent risks, side effects, and potential complications.
These are explained in detail in the specific informed consent documents for each procedure.

By accepting these terms, the patient commits to:

  • carefully reading the relevant informed consent documents,
  • asking questions where necessary,
  • signing the corresponding consent prior to treatment.

5. Patient responsibilities

The patient agrees to:

  • provide truthful and complete medical information,
  • follow all pre- and post-treatment instructions,
  • attend follow-up appointments when indicated.

Failure to comply may increase risks, affect outcomes and limit the practitioner’s ability to provide safe care.

6. Changes, delays, or cancellation for medical reasons

For reasons of patient safety, procedures may be modified, postponed, or cancelled at any time, including on the day of treatment. This does not generate entitlement to compensation beyond legal requirements.

7. Independent medical practice

Medical services are provided under the independent professional responsibility of the treating physician. Any collaborating clinics provide facilities and infrastructure only, unless otherwise stated.

8.Appointments, Deposits and Cancellations

Appointments may require a prepayment or booking fee to confirm the reservation. This fee is considered a service reservation fee and is:

  • non-refundable in case of cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice,
  • non-refundable in case of non-attendance (“no-show”),
  • transferable to a new appointment if rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

In case of late arrival, the consultation or treatment time may be reduced or cancelled depending on availability. Exceptions may be considered in justified medical or emergency situations at the discretion of the practitioner.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law.
